I have been to this place when it used to be LePlace years ago. I always said it had so much more potential. After visiting it again after the new ownership took over, I was taken back by how amazing it looks and feels! They have the most delicious drinks, the interior has been TRANSFORMED and the new name fits it so well, as the art scattered around the walls are both whimsical and entertaining! We went during their Saturday Night drag show and had a BLAST! Looking forward to attending more of their events! The new owners, the vibes, the music and the drinks will finally give our area a place for our community to truly enjoy themselves without having to make a trek to Providence! Looking forward to some exciting Summer nights on that deck!

Fantastic space and amazing drag - what more do you need? The staff was so friendly and welcoming. The Gallery Girls were off the charts and the mocktails were hitting ALL the correct spots. Really enjoyed our night here - can't wait to come back!

All are welcome here! Great modern vibe with beautiful decor and a warm atmosphere. Love that they support local artists — the paintings for sale are a nice touch. Prices are reasonable, and the cocktails are top-notch. They also host themed events like karaoke nights, paint parties, and a mix of different DJs — making this place far from your typical bar. Definitely worth checking out!

I have been a patron of The Gallery Bar Mocktail bar (clearly advertised) since they opened. I have enjoyed each event I have attended. I love the Sunday morning classes when they have them. They make people of all fitnesses abilities and ages to fewl comfortable. The space is clean and beautiful. The artwork on the walls is beautiful and always changing. The MOCKTAILS are delicious and so are the snacks/ treats. The staff is exceptional and there is plenty of parking. If you are looking for a great place to try somewhere new or you can't find a venue for your next event, look no further than The Gallery Bar!

Went in the middle of the day, so there wasn't a big crowd. Bartender was such a nice guy, great personality. The walls are covered in really cool art, and overall it's a genuinely cool place to hang out. Had a couple of mocktails and chatted with the bartender. Highly recommend. I would love to come back in the near future.

I've been going to The Gallery Bar for a couple of months now and there isn't another drinking establishment with the same atmosphere, service, or sense of community. From their friendly staff to the wall of local art, The Gallery Bar truly exemplifies the excellence of art and diversity of New Bedford. I've come to treat the place as a home away from home and a place for anyone to come and express themselves over great cocktails or beers, a place to dance the night away with their array of diverse DJs, or just to play some pool! The events are spectacular and the biweekly drag shows give me life! It's a great place to meet new people and pay homage to Le Place, the bar before it, as the year old bar still sports the old bars Logo! A true patron of the ages. May they have many more years of success!

I absolutely LOVE this place! The owners are very creative when it comes to the entertainment they provide as well as the environment. The place is absolutely beautiful, and they even have an art wall where they sell locally made pieces of art. I've never had a bad time here. 10/10 I will always recommend this place if you are looking for a fun night out for good drinks, entertainment and the energy of belonging.
